Fused Glass Plate Class
Tues. January 10th, 6-8:30 @ Home StudioThurs., January 26th, 6-9pm @ Stained Glass, Etc.
In this class we learn the basics of glass fusing including glass cutting, design, glass compatibility, fusing temperatures, techniques, finishing, use of molds and basics of kiln use with instructions on full fuse, tac fuse and slumping. We will be creating two 5.5 inch plates by fusing layers of colorful glass and incorporating glass frit and stringers into unique, one of a kind plates you will be proud to use or give as a gift. No experience necessary for this class. All glass and tools provided. This class will provide you with most of the basics necessary to make many different items in fused glass. If you are going to take just one class ... this is it!!!

Fused Glass Jewelry Class
Tuesday, January 24th, 6-8:30p.m @ Home Studio
Design and create dazzling, one of a kind, pieces of jewelry! In this fun class you will learn the basics of glass fusing, design, etching and finishing techniques while making 4 pendants and a pair of earrings. We will focus on learning about dichroic glass use and the beauty it lends to jewelry. You will receive compliments galore as you enjoy accessorizing with "wearable art" of your designs. No experience necessary.

Nightlight Fusing Workshop
January 17, 6-8:30p.m. @ Home Studio
Let's create some art! In this class we learn the basics of fusing including glass cutting, design, compatibility, fusing temperatures and basics of kiln use. We will be creating two night lights by fusing layers of colorful glass and incorporating frit and stringers into unique, one of a kind designs. We will explore the difference between tac and full fuse and the affect kiln temperature plays on glass. You will love the way your glass design looks when illuminated! No experience necessary and all glass and tools are provided.

I took a class, had a blast, now I want to do more! Come in each Monday and make lots of beautiful glass art. Plates, jewelry, sun catchers, panels, night lights ... it's up to you! I am so excited to open my studio and share my love of glass fusing with you each and every week. Let's turn up the music, fire up the kiln and make some art! Includes up to two firings in kiln per piece, use of grinder, tools and basic assistance. MUST have taken one of the glass fusing classes prior to coming to an Open Studio Monday. Cost of glass is additional - fusible glass available for purchase in studio.
